My name is Dom and I am a multidisciplinary, full-time creative based in Austin, TX.

As a fashion and set stylist, I strive to create immersive visual experiences that push boundaries, experiment with texture/color/shape, and celebrate the human experience.

As an event designer, I believe there’s no occasion too small. I delight in the curation of time and any opportunity to gather.

As a classically trained chef, my goal is to prepare memorable sensory experiences. I follow the ‘phone-eats-first’ rule of thumb with every plate.

As a writer and doodler, I seek amusement through documentation and storytelling. I am my target audience in this discipline, but love to share my musings and ramblings on occasion.

As a tarot reader, my aim is to nurture individual intuition and connection with all things divine.

As a dancer and certified pole fitness instructor, my desire is to create an accessible and inclusive space where all are welcome to connect music with their body. I work to facilitate authentic expression and embodied power.

Experience

  • I attended Brigham Young University and received my degree in History. I focused my studies on philosophy, the Middle East, and women’s history.

  • I was trained in the classic French tradition at Salt Lake Culinary Education. I specialize in special dietary needs and gluten free recipe modification.

  • I am currently a chef at Omni Barton Creek Country Club in the banquet kitchen. We service parties from 10-500 guests and offer buffets, plated meals, and live action stations. With a diverse menu, I have experience cooking Texmex, BBQ, and traditional fine dining recipes.

  • I have multiple editorial shoots published in Glaze Zine as a fashion stylist.

  • I am an experienced production assistant for editorial photography, event production, and runway production.

  • I am certified in coaching and beginner pole fitness from Spin City Aerial Fitness Instructor Training. I have been practicing pole for 3 years.

  • I have volunteered with various organizations to plan events, including BYUSA, the Middle Eastern Studies Club, BYU Residence Life, Glaze Zine, Gluten Free Recipe Club, I Am Zambia, and for various corporate events. I help organize and oversee gatherings, celebrations, and service projects.

  • I spend much of my free time facilitating opportunities to gather. Elaborate themed events are my area of interest and expertise. Blending my love of history and special occasion, I am particularly fond of stepping back in time for an evening to celebrate like peoples of old.

  • I have studied Tarot and Astrology for over 5 years, leaning on extensive research combined with personal intuition.
